Integrity

What is Integrity?

Integrity is about doing. It is doing what you have said you will do. It is following through on your intentions and completing matters to a satisfactory conclusion..

Integrity is something that is earned. People with integrity will complete what they say they will and others around them will know this to be the case. Some one within your circle will fit this criteria.

Quotation:

"Circumstances do not make a man, they reveal him."

Dr Wayne Dyer

Question Yourself

Some work related questions to focus your attention on the issue of integrity:

    · Are you working towards your career goal?

    · Have you set a career path and action plan to achieve?

    · Is your work challenging?

    · Are you avoiding other aspects of your life through work commitments?

    · What do your superiors and collagues think about you as a worker and a person?

    · Are you completely honest in all of your dealings?

A person who is undisciplined with their own body, the only instrument they have complete control over, will find it difficult to be disciplined in other aspects of their business and private life.

Integrity involves courage and standing out from the crowd.

If you cannot be true to yourself, then it will be extremely difficult to be true to others in your life, whether in your business or private life.

Quotation:

"A character is like an acrostic: read it forward, backward, or across, it still spells the same thing."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Dynamic Improvements Programme has several exercises to strengthen personal integrity. It involves both courage and discipline on the part of the participant.
